A White Paper on Multimodal Multiplex Spectrometers (pdf)
This white paper describes a new generation of spectrometer technology
that employs multimodal multiplex sampling (MMS). The performance of a
spectrometer based on MMS is then compared to conventional slit and
fiber input spectrometers.

Static 2D Aperture Coding for Multimodal Multiplex Spectroscopy (pdf)
This paper discusses a new class of aperture coded spectrometer that is
optimized for the spectral characterization of diffuse sources. The
instrument achieves high throughput and high spectral resolution by
replacing the slit of conventional dispersive spectrometers with a more
complicated spatial filter. A general mathematical framework for
deriving the required aperture codes is developed.

Biosensing Enhanced by Multimodal Multiplex Spectroscopy (pdf)
This paper describes the application of biosensors in areas such as
medical diagnostics, drug discovery, DNA detection, proteomics and
environmental detection of biological agents. The advantages of MMS
based systems over conventional slit and fiber based spectrometers are
highlighted.

Multimodal Multiplex Spectroscopy –
Extreme Sensitivity with Uncompromised Resolution (pdf) This paper provides an easy to understand introduction to Multimodal
Multiplex Spectroscopy and demonstrates the advantages of the
approach using UV/Vis emission data.
