Morrisville, N.C. - November 26, 2007 - Centice Corporation, a pioneer in next generation sensor technology, today announced that the company expanded its patent portfolio with the recent patent award for “Rapid Pharmaceutical Verification and Identification System.”
This patent (US Patent No. 7,218,395) describes a fully automated pharmaceutical identification and verification system that operates through a prescription vial or bottle without requiring cap removal/replacement, while providing superior verification speeds with higher accuracy. “We are very pleased with the award of this patent. This patent is based upon the use of our previously patented Multimodal Multiplex Sensor platform technology.” said Prasant Potuluri, Ph.D., CTO of Centice.
