Centice promotes Arthur Bergens to Chief Operating Officer

Morrisville, NC (August 26, 2009) – Centice Corporation, a pioneer in drug verification and safety products, announced today that Arthur Bergens has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Bergens came to Centice in January 2006, and will maintain his role as the Chief Financial Officer. Since joining Centice, Mr. Bergens has been responsible for the financial, operations, IT, human resources, manufacturing and administrative functions at the company. He has also been instrumental in guiding Centice to its recent launch of its initial product, PASS Rx®.

“Arthur has done a terrific job of managing all of the different aspects of the operations at Centice. This was a natural progression for him and we are pleased to give Arthur this promotion,” said Scott Albert, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Centice.

Prior to joining Centice, Mr. Bergens has held CFO and other financial leadership roles with semiconductor products and supply chain management companies that include Amkor Technology, Inc., Unitive Inc., and Modus Media International. Previously, he also spent about eight years with Ernst and Young.
