Business Leader Media and BDO Seidman LLP recognizes Arthur Bergens as 2009 Top CFO

MORRISVILLE, NC (October 19, 2009) – Centice Corporation, a pioneer in drug verification and safety products, announced today that Arthur Bergens, Centice Corporation’s Chief Financial and Operating Officer, was named as a 2009 Top CFO by Business Leader Media and BDO Seidman LLP. Winners were honored at an event on October 13, 2009 and they will be featured in the October 2009 issue of Business Leader magazine. This year the honorees for the 2009 Top CFOs were chosen from a record number of nominations.

Mr. Bergens came to Centice in January 2006. Since joining Centice, Mr. Bergens has been responsible for the design, implementation, and leadership of the financial, operations, IT, human resources, manufacturing and administrative functions at the company. In addition, he has been the point person for Centice in securing multiple debt and equity financings totaling over $23 million. He has also been instrumental in helping guide Centice to its recent launch of its initial product, PASS Rx®.

Prior to joining Centice, Mr. Bergens has held CFO and other financial leadership roles with technology products and supply chain management companies that include Amkor Technology, Inc., Unitive Inc., and Modus Media International. Previously, he also spent about eight years with Ernst and Young.
