Articles & Whitepapers
This whitepaper is intended to introduce the reader to the Centice coded aperture spectrometer. Here we will explain this form of spectroscopy and show how it fits into the wide array of today’s available spectrometers. This discussion will offer historical perspectives on how and why this form of spectroscopy came to be, and will show that, in many cases, it is better than competing forms. A couple of case studies will be presented to highlight these advantages and to provide the reader a sense of how these types of spectrometers could be best used. Finally, some remarks about the bright future of the coded aperture will be touched upon, and we will summarize by offering the reader a few paths available to them as they take their first steps towards implementing this technology.
