Centice Leadership Bios

Prasant Potuluri, Ph. D.

Prasant Potuluri is the Chief Technology Officer at Centice Corporation. In his role as the CTO, Potuluri identifies and evaluates new technology, provides strategic vision and direction to the engineering group. He has pursued several federal grants for Centice and has won close to $1.4 million in research funds. He also strategically manages the Intellectual portfolio of the company. Prior to co-founding Centice in 2004, he has been a graduate research assistant at Duke University and has been developing the company’s core computational sensor technology platform. His PhD thesis titled, “Multiplexed Optical Sensors for Reference Structure Tomography and Compressive Spectroscopy” is the first demonstration of compressive sampling, a revolutionary concept. In 2004, Potuluri has been awarded John T. Chambers Fellow for demonstrating excellence in classroom activities, research activities and for participation in Duke Activities. Potuluri played a critical role in winning the grand prize at the Duke Startup Challenge. Potuluri obtained a PhD from Duke University, a Masters degree from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a Bachelors degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Potuluri is a member of the Optical Society of America, SPIE and Sigma-Xi. He has founded Duke Chapter of the Optical Society of America and held the office of the President for the chapter during 2003-2004.

Ralph Greco
Vice President, Manufacturing

Ralph Greco joined Centice on June 1st, 2006 as VP of Manufacturing.  Greco is responsible for manufacturing the company’s sensor products as well as managing safety, quality, procurement and vendor outsourcing in conjunction with manufacturing activities.  Greco brings more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering and operations to Centice having held leadership roles in production, quality, facilities and business process improvements.  Prior to joining Centice, Greco was at ModusLink, a global provider of supply chain management services.  As Director of Operations, he was responsible for all supply chain operations including project management, manufacturing assembly, process engineering, quality assurance, fulfillment, distribution and facilities management.   Before ModusLink, Greco was with IBM, US Assemblies, and Ambra Computer Corporation in a variety of manufacturing, engineering and product management roles. Throughout his career, Greco has managed various manufacturing, quality, education, and product administration departments including ten years in manufacturing engineering.  He also was responsible for assembly outsourcing of personal computer systems, coordinating product engineering and contract manufacturing projects, as well as management of customer service organizations.

Christal Anderson, PHR
Senior Manager, Human Resources

Christal Anderson joined Centice in October 2006 as the Human Resources Manager. Anderson brings more than 13 years of HR experience in the pharmaceutical, high technology, and healthcare industries. Previously, Anderson managed the HR function at Cirrus Pharmaceuticals, a Contract Research Organization in Research Triangle Park, whose recruiting efforts made Cirrus one of the fastest growing CRO’s in the Triangle area. Previously, Anderson held HR Generalist positions of increasing responsibility at Biovail Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded pharmaceutical focused on drug-delivery technologies, now based in Bridgewater, NJ. Prior to Biovail, Anderson worked at Cisco Systems in the Human Resources department in RTP. Anderson holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Western Governors University in Utah.
