January 11, 2008 - RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Ray Swanson, President
and CEO of Centice Corporation has received recognition as a 2007/2008
Impact Technology and Telecommunications Leader for the Triangle.
Business Leader Media’s The Park Guide, a quarterly supplement to
Business Leader magazine, announced its 2007/2008 Impact Technology and
Telecommunications Leaders for the Triangle. The Impact Leaders were
chosen from over 60 nominations and are meant to recognize the key
influencers of technology and telecommunication in the Triangle. Many of
the Impact Leaders head up companies that provide solutions to thousands
of Triangle businesses.

July 11, 2006 – Centice Corporation, a pioneer in next generation sensor
technology, today announced the company was named an R&D 100 award
winner in 2006 for its Multimodal Multiplex Raman Spectrometer.
Recognized as the “Oscars of Invention” by the Chicago Tribune,
the R&D 100 awards are presented by R&D Magazine to recognize the 100
most technologically significant products introduced into the
marketplace over the past year. The R&D award is a symbol of excellence
that is known throughout the industry by influencers in commercial,
government and academic sectors. Each year, an independent panel of
judges works with the editors of R&D Magazine to review, identify
and select breakthrough products. Centice accepted the award and
exhibited at the 44th annual black tie Awards Ceremony at Chicago’s Navy
Pier on Thursday, October 19th, 2006.
June, 2005 - Centice Corporation was chosen as the “Spin Out of the Year”
by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development. The Council for
Entrepreneurial Development (CED) honored Centice and other area
entrepreneurs / high-growth companies during the organization’s 19th annual
Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards on June 15 at the American Tobacco
Historic District in Durham,NC. More than 415 people attended the sold-out
celebration. CED is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1984 to
identify, enable and promote high growth, high impact entrepreneurial
companies and to accelerate the entrepreneurial culture of the Research
Triangle and North Carolina. CED is the largest and oldest entrepreneurial
